Providing VoIP service since: August 2004. GoIP started with its own developed VoIP system for retail service. Subsequently GoIP International was formed to offer service as an Application Service Provider (August 2005) for consumer VoBB and Mobile VoIP. Retail business sold off to debitel.dk (www.debitel-ip.dk)
Most memorable challenges so far: Providing system deliveries faster to service providers, and avoiding custom development.
Number of service provider customers: 18
Growth expected over the next 12 months: 300-1000% compared to the 2007 results.
Geographic focus: Focusing on European customers (currently serving Spain, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Denmark). Opening offices in Eastern Europe shortly. Latin American office also coming up in 2008.
Innovative VoIP features: GoIP’s Mobile VoIP solutions include SIP provisioning for Dual Mode phones plus calling through VoIP Gateways via Java clients. Also provides USB stick bundled with softphone. Expecting near about 50,000 users (through service providers) for this product by the end of 2008.
Voice-Web mashup work so far: auto provisioning, etc. Enabling number portability, CRM, CMS etc through web.
